This is anticipated to shorten the drug development timeline, which typically takes over 10 years, and enhance cost-effectiveness.
Implementing Smart Factories in Manufacturing
In its manufacturing division, Celltrion is adopting various technologies to realize a smart factory. The new raw material drug plants 4 and 5, currently under construction in Songdo, will be equipped with autonomous mobile robots, automated logistics warehouses, and intelligent robotic arms. These technologies will elevate the level of automation on the production floor, with plans to expand the application of 'Physical AI,' where AI controls equipment and robots.
