Comedian Kang Jae-joon's Weight Regain Journey and How He Overcame It

Kang Jae-joon's Weight Regain Experience

Kang Jae-joon, the real reason for weight regain after losing 32kg?

Hello everyone! Today, I want to talk about comedian Kang Jae-joon's weight loss journey. He shared his experience of regaining weight after successfully losing it, and his subsequent efforts to try again. Many of you might be struggling with dieting, and I think we can learn a lot from his experience.

Weight Loss and Weight Regain

Kang Jae-joon once successfully lost weight down to 77kg, but due to weight regain, his weight increased back up to 101kg. He is currently back down to 93kg and has stated his goal is to reach 77kg by December 31st of this year. He mentioned, "This time, it's truly the last challenge to regain my health," signaling his intention to focus on health recovery rather than just weight loss.

Overexertion and Injury

After losing weight, Kang Jae-joon attempted a full marathon in Hawaii but sustained an ankle injury due to high-intensity exercise without proper preparation. This significantly impacted his exercise routine and negatively affected his weight management. He emphasized that sustainability is crucial after weight loss, advising that choosing exercises that can be done consistently is more important than pushing too hard.

Changes in Eating Habits

In the past, he tried low-carb diets and intermittent fasting, but he found that excessive restrictions actually led to failure. Currently, to maintain a balanced diet, he prioritizes eating salads and protein first, followed by carbohydrates. He is also reducing his intake of carbonated and sugary drinks and being mindful to avoid binge eating.

Lifestyle Habits for Preventing Weight Regain

Experts explain that the key to preventing weight regain isn't rapid weight loss in a short period, but rather establishing sustainable lifestyle habits after losing weight. Managing exercise, diet, and sleep patterns together can prevent the vicious cycle of weight gain. Kang Jae-joon's experience reminds us once again of the importance of consistency.

If you are also embarking on a diet, try to find sustainable methods without overdoing it. The path to a healthy body starts not with short-term efforts, but with consistent management. I'm cheering for your health today!
