These findings align with several previous studies, which have reported a 34% reduction in hip fracture risk and an approximately 30% reduction in overall fracture risk for women undergoing hormone therapy. This is crucial information for menopausal women.

However, hormone therapy is not suitable for all menopausal women. Experts caution that while hormone therapy can alleviate various symptoms like hot flashes, sleep disturbances, and joint pain, it may increase the risk of certain conditions, such as breast cancer, in some women.
